How To Flash CWM (Clockwork Mod) Recovery On Karbonn a21

Hey there..!!!

I'm gonna show you how to flash CWM (Clockwork Mod) recovery on Karbonn a21

With CWM you can easily install Custom Rom on your "ROOTED" phone

This is one of the most amazing things you can do with a rooted phone 

Tech Dominance is not responsible for any harm caused to your phone

But Im 100% Sure that it will work..It works for almost everyone (Even I have Flashed CWM with this method ;))

This is a very...very easy thing

SO LETS GET STARTED !!!

First of all download and install Terminal Emulator.....Then open the application (Terminal Emulator is a free app on the Google Play Store...Download it :) )

Download CWM Recovery (Get it from here)

The download is a zipped file .....Extract it to your desktop....you should get a file named Recovery.img

Now move the extracted file to the root of your "Internal sdcard" ...(Here root means just in the internal sdcard not in any folder within it)

Now carefully type this-

su   -Hit Enter

This command will take permissions from the superuser....When asked tap allow

Now Type:

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p16.backup bs=4096   -Tap Enter

dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 bs=4096   -Again Tap Enter

Yeeeaaahhhhh!!!!....Your CWM is flashed now

To verify that you have successfully flashed CWM Recovery,Just Download ROM Manager (Free on the Play Store)

The first option will tell you whether you have CWM Recovery or not

If it does not show something like "Current Recovery: ClockworkMod 5.x.x.x".....Dont Worry Just tap on the first option

Next,tap the First option "ClockworkMod Recovery" under "Recovery already installed" heading....Yes that 2nd last option.

Next it will show a list of some android models....(Karbonn is not listed in it)

Scroll all the way to the bottom...There will be an option "Device Not Listed Above"...Tap on it..It will show 2 options "ClockworkMod 2.x" and "ClockworkMod 3.x+"

Select "ClockworkMod 3.x+"

Now go back to the main menu of ROM Manager...Under the first option it will show "Current Recovery:ClockworkMod 5.x.x.x" ......This means you have CWM installed on your phone
